The Story Behind Hailey’s Army for Children, Inc.
Hailey’s Army for Children, Inc. was created out of a family's love and determination to turn unimaginable loss into meaningful action.
Hailey was a bright, joyful child who brought happiness to everyone around her. She had a kind heart, a beautiful spirit, and a way of making people feel loved and seen. Like so many children today, Hailey lived in a world where technology and social media are a normal part of growing up. But that same online world can also expose children to dangers that many families do not fully understand until it is too late.
After experiencing a devastating tragedy, Hailey’s family made a promise that her life would continue to make a difference. Rather than allowing grief to silence them, they chose to turn their pain into purpose. From that promise, Hailey’s Army for Children was born.
The organization was created to protect children, educate families, and raise awareness about the very real dangers that exist both online and in the world around them. Through training, education, advocacy, and community engagement, Hailey’s Army works to give parents, children, and communities the knowledge and tools they need to keep kids safe.
The name “Hailey’s Army” represents a growing community of people who refuse to stand by while children are put at risk. It symbolizes neighbors, parents, educators, law enforcement, and advocates standing shoulder to shoulder working together to protect children and support families.
Hailey’s Army for Children exists so that Hailey’s light continues to shine. Every training, every conversation, and every child protected is a reminder that her life still has purpose.
